Van Jones, Founder of Green For All, was a phenomenal keynote speaker at PCU’s Annual Gala Benefit last February (watch the video).  He challenged the audience to connect environmental justice to our devastated economy.  How can we solved two of America’s biggest problems with one solution?  How can we “lift all boats” and provide a way for every American to benefit from the emerging green economy?

Participate in one of our Green Collar Economy book groups sponsored by PCU’s Eighth Day Project. We are organizing initial book gatherings in four areas: Woodland Hills, San Dimas, Pasadena and Orange.

Style.  The book gatherings are very low commitment. In the initial meeting, the group will decide whether or not they want to continue gathering to discuss points in the book. The group will set the time and frequency of those meet-ups.

Also, you don't event need to own the book! Just come and join the discussion. Books will be on sale at the first gathering. You can catch up on the reading later.
